I read for you today:
The story here is a true story! It is a story of respect, graceful communication and gratitude in a human-animal relationship that alone is a lesson of our best teacher - Life.
There are many similar stories, most of them true stories but this one in particular is showing plainly and simply the meaning of our human existence…
The famous Italian diver Enzo Mallorca dived into the sea near Syracuse with his daughter Rossana.
Diving in the sea he felt something lightly hit him in the back. He turned and saw a dolphin. It took him only a little while to realize that the dolphin didn't want to play, but was trying to tell him something…
The Dolphin dived and Enzo and his daughter followed the animal deeper in the water.
About 12 feet down, in an abandoned old net, they saw another dolphin.
Majorca quickly asked his daughter to give him the diving knife and in a few minutes, they managed to free the dolphin, which later above the water with its last strength gave out an "almost human cry" (as Mallorca himself said).
A dolphin can stay underwater for up to 10 minutes, after which the dolphin sinks (it is less time for the humans to experience the same …)
The freed, still dazed dolphin, Enzo, Rossan and other dolphins reached the surface.
And then the unexpected happened - the rescued one was a female dolphin that soon was to give birth to a baby dolphin. The Father Dolphin made a circle, swam up to Enzo, touched his cheek (like a kiss) - a gesture of gratitude... and both dolphins sailed away.
After all that happened, Enzo said just a few words that every human should be aware of :
"Until man learns to respect Nature and talk to an animal in the world, he will never understand his own true role on Earth."
– Enzo Mallorca
I hope you to read this true story to your children so that they can also learn to listen to all the children of the Nature and find their best role on Earth 🌎
