LOVE'S LAUGH LINES
with Debbie Binner & Kate Bristow
Kate's Bio:
Hello, I'm Katie, though most people know me as Kate. I'm the proud mum of two incredible children, Max and Issy. Here’s a little bit about me and my journey. My life has been shaped by two fundamental themes - my unwavering passion for helping people and my deep desire to forge connections. From a young age, I recognized these innate qualities within me, attributes that truly make me feel alive. For over two decades, my career was firmly rooted in the health and social care sector. Providing care to those in need was not just a job; it was a calling. Witnessing the positive impact of my work, ensuring that my clients received the compassion and care they rightfully deserved, was a source of immense satisfaction. Observing lives change for the better through the love, support, and care our team and staff provided was profoundly fulfilling.
By 2011, my company had achieved something extraordinary - delivering an astonishing 8,000 hours of care each week. However, I made the significant decision to sell the company, driven by my burning desire to spend more quality time with my precious children and my beloved mother, whose illness had rapidly progressed.
In 2012, life threw me a curveball when my mum passed away. I was devastated I found myself lost and scared, grappling with questions of identity and belonging in the face of significant life changes. It was during this challenging period that I recognized I had been running from myself for far too long. The most profound gift I gave myself was the courage to face my own reflection, setting my soul free. My breakdown became the catalyst for my most significant breakthrough, propelling me on a journey of self-discovery, spirituality, and healing from some deep-seated traumas. This journey was an emotional rollercoaster, accompanied by massive life changes that not only affected me but also those I held dearest. However, it was a path I had to walk. It was then that I realized I had been running from myself for far to long. The best gift I gave myself was this because by facing myself i set my soul free. My breakdown became my biggest breakthrough leading me on a transformative journey of self-discovery, spirituality, and healing from past traumas. It was an emotional rollercoaster, and some massive life changes that didn’t just affect me but those who I loved dearly but I had to do it.
Today my passion for connecting people has fully materialized being given the amazing opportunity by our founder Hugh Callacher to form a charity through KindaSound Radio—a platform designed for change-seekers. This venture is deeply meaningful to me, as it combines my love for supporting people coupled with the creation of a platform that empowers, encourages authenticity, and honest conversations. It's an exhilarating time as the pieces of my life's puzzle finally align, revealing why my spiritual and healing journey has been so pivotal.
Let's create a world where voices are heard, stories are shared, and positive change is not just a dream but a reality. The question is who is going to join me?Debbie's Bio:
