Wendy is simply one of the UK’s most prominent authoritative and inspiring speakers and coaches on mental resilience and self development. She works with Educational Facilities, Professional Athletes, Charities, Health Organisations, FTSE 500 companies and over 700 people in her personal coaching business.

Speaking with confidence and authority from the space of personal experience when it comes to overcoming adversity. Wendy draws much from her traumatic journey of recovering from a severe spinal injury and having to rebuild her life in all aspects. Following a horrific motorbike accident in 1989 and a long 8 months in hospital with the prognosis of never walking again she walked out on crutches to the disbelief of the medical staff. This led to a 10 year struggle of regaining as much mobility as possible and trying to find some purpose in life again. In 2002 finding wheelchair basketball changed Wendy’s life.

After attending a training session with her local team and loving the sport so much she ended up in the Great Britain Women’s team within 3 months which then led to being selected for the Paralympic games in Athens 2004. She says this sport saved her life and gave her the opportunity to reenter the working world and attain a sense of social value again. Discovering many transferable skills that led to speaking, coaching, tutoring and training others how to get the best out their own self, Wendy has had the opportunities to deliver a TedX talk, speak at City Hall & The Oval and engage with thousands of people through talks and trainings.

Her goal in life is to inspire people to follow their dreams and realise their full power and potential. Wendy’s favourite saying is “Whatever you think, you’re not wrong”.
